Grievance Procedures

 

Disputes between members and willing customers shall be resolved with the Grievance Procedure of the BOLBA in the following manner:

  1. The grievance must be addressed to the chairperson of the Ethics and Grievance Committee.
  2. The grievance must be typewritten, dated and signed by the aggrieved party.
  3. The grievance must address the Article(s) violated and state the facts supporting the grievance
  4. The grievance must include dates, names, addressees and telephone numbers of the involved parties to which the incident relates.
  5. The Ethics and Grievance Chairperson shall send copies of the complaint to the members of the Ethics and Grievance Committee members as well as to the aggrieved parties within ten (10) days.
  6. The aggrieved party(s) shall respond to the ethics and Grievance Chairperson within 30 days.
  7. The Ethics and Grievance Committee shall review and answer the complaint and/or, at its discretion, may bring both parties together for clarification and/or amicable resolution.
  8. Ethics and Grievance Committee Members shall not contact or discuss with anyone other that the principals involved.
